Hi everyone! Or no one, for I really have no idea if anyone has been reading this blog ;)
My kids have been back in school for 3 (partial) weeks now. I had planned to hit the ground running with HeadPeace once school began, and that's exactly what I have done. This is the first time in 9 years that I have had 7 hours each week day to myself, and I have filled every minute of that time to the brim. As a new entrepreneur, I've had no trouble keeping busy with my new business. To be honest, at times, it's a little overwhelming. I have a strong desire to grow this venture into a very successful business--not only to fulfill desires to provide for my family while continuing to stay at home, but to help people in need as well. This desire is what can bring on that feeling of being overwhelmed. There is so much information out there--which is a wonderful thing, but when you studied environmental science in college and didn't even realize there was a business school, you've got lots of learning to do. Lucky for me, my husband did go to school for business, and he's done a great job in guiding me to helpful business podcasts, books and online courses. Over the past months, my research on how to increase online traffic has led me to this: create a blog and site link. I have never thought of myself as a stellar writer, but I'm going to give this a go. My plan is to regularly post in this blog about, well...life. HeadPeace was created for "athletes, yogis, hippies and busy people," so I think that's a great place to start. Since I'm so new to this idea, I'm all ears. Feel free to leave comments below on what content you'd like to see here and stay tuned!
